We enjoy this cocktail at any time of the year although it is a part of our winter warmers. Around this time of year though, our navels are growing lusciously, and the combination of a beautiful orange zing and gingerbeer spice always strikes us as warming combination of flavour.
Our syrups are designed to be used in drinks. Incorporating them into cocktails highlights their uses beyond simply adding them to soda water. The elderflower syrup might not be the star of the show in the drink, but it still provides a depth in flavour in tandem with the other ingredients and a also little sweetness.
This recipe is easily converted into a non-alcoholic mocktail. Just take out the vodka. We think this recipe is pretty nicely balanced but feel free to add a little bit of soda water to dilute if you prefer a less concentrated flavour.

Ingredients
- 1 shot of vodka
- 1 1/2 Shot of elderflower syrup
- 30 ml of freshly squeezed orange juice
- Top up with Ginger beer
-Pomegranate Arils and fresh thyme for garnish
Method
Place a couple of large cubes of ice into a glass.
Add the vodka, elderflower syrup, and orange juice.
Top up with ginger beer and stir until homogenous.
Garnish with some pomegranate seeds and a sprig of thyme
